I dialed the 511 system which is usually at least 22 minutes of agony to try and get timely info about your route. I had the very same question you had 285 around the loop or stay the course in the HOV lanes on I75. In June we were hitting Atlanta in rush hour traffic as our schedule would not allow us to avoid it.
OK well at least I didn't know it and we drive this way a lot.
